free servers for UO have decent player bases though

This expansion will only appeal if:

a) you were never bothered by Renaissance or Age of Shadows (statistically that's the miniority) and still enjoy the virtual doll house that is today's UO

and

b) you're not a fan of the original Ultima series


First it was ninjas, then elves(?!) and now gargoyles with a gender??


I recently came across a free shard entitled The Second Age (cleverly named after the better edition of Ultima Online). Now I don't have to get nostalgic when I play UO anymore.


But I will add this, the current people running the live events are fantastic. Having Event Moderators with game master powers organising events for players really brings the world to life. The fact that this game has had an Aussie server for nearly a decade is even better!

Best MMO ever..before they split the game world into 2 parts (PVE/PVP)
