When one game updates, it seems that others seem to follow in quick succession. Such is the case today - with not one, not two, but three games receiving a bunch of fixes through Steam. There is a new update for Left 4 Dead which introduces a "fatigue" mechanic for melee combat, along with the fix of some crash issues.

Meanwhile, in the land of Garry's Mod, a number of tweaks, fixes and crashes are addressed.

Finally, an update for Empire: Total War sees a variety of improvements - with some campaign crashes, having been fixed, along with a some changes to the save system which should allow a better game play experience.

We've got complete change-lists for each update. As always, restart your Steam client to force an update of any of the games. Otherwise, the game should update the next time you try to start it.

Many crash fixes for Empire. I really hope they've fixed all the ones I get.

this ought to be really interesting... (the fatigue thing). hope i get time to try it out tonight

the boomer bile going through infected could be fun too i get so frustrated when it looks like i should've hit the survivors, only to then get knocked back and asploded. that melee fatigue could actually really help boomers

Hm I think this is going to start getting to easy as infected soon, they have been improving infected time and time again now and me and my guys pretty much always killed the other team as it was a month ago.

ooh i hope the empire bug fixes work.
i had an army that if i selected it would crash. the only way i could select it was to move another unit into that army - which would then select it ok. that was weird.
