Steamy Weekend Celebrations - Piles of new stuff!

To start your weekend, we have a whole bunch of Steam news. You can save a bundle on Mount & Blade, scare yourself silly with Penumbra Black Plague, test out your strategy with Harvest: Massive Encounter and Hearts of Iron II, or perhaps just go about updating your zombies with a new tweak for Left 4 Dead.

While we've got more details on all of those deals, if you're the type of person who only wants to know about the zombies, just restart your Steam client, and the update will download automagically.

Not wrong there pigfat, although i dont really see people using the melee exploit, but the tank showing fire damage is win... people will now be able to see how much better it is to avoide the fire

$7.50 US for mount and blade If you haven't played the demo yet get too it cause you will won't to grab this game that's a steal at that price

The game is well worth picking up at that price. DoW: Soulstorm for 7.50 is also a great deal at the moment.

The two are fairly different in design and Soulstorm isn't even a year old yet.
For ~$11 you could do a lot worse.

For people considering buying Mount & Blade (as I am) you can get the demo here on GONK.
I think if I can figure out how to be an archer properly I'll probably get it...

Nice, thank god they fixed the weapon switch melee spam crap. I've done it a couple of times to lone zombies and it sounds like chain gun how fast the thud noise is.
