Mirror's Edge: Downloadable Maps + PC Version in January

DICE would like gamers to leave the city behind with the first announcement of downloadable content for their free-running action/adventure title Mirror's Edge: seven all-new Time Trial maps, available on all three platforms - PS3, Xbox 360 and PC - in late January.

...and yes, they've also confirmed that PC gamers won't be missing out on the game for much longer, with a worldwide release scheduled for January 16th, 2009.

Who cares if they do, it'll be available freely on the net from somewhere.

The maps should be included with the PC version and not DLC (free or not). If it is released after the PC version then it should be free DLC for the PC.

I am just waiting for the "Mirrors Edge will use SecuROM with limited installations" news item =/

Surely they'd just include the maps with the initial release of the PC version. That would be the assumption anyways...still, this is EA, so I guess assume nothing.

Well it took them a good while after the release of Mass Effect to release "Bring Down the Sky" ...

Those new maps look crazy! I'm quite excited about the release of this game on pc, looks like it tis a lot of fun.

That looks like awesome fun!

I made a few maps like this for HL2, but Mirror's Edge is practically built for this stuff. Hope they include the level editor for the PC edition.
