All MMOGs go through growing pains and Warhammer Online is no exception. If the overall fluidity of combat and classes don’t feel right when playing it can ruin the game. The general feeling with the combat system and many careers is that they are a bit rough around the edges. Patch 1.06 attempts to fix the smorgasbord of combat and career issues in hopes to revitalize this crucial area of the game.

Two new careers, Blackguards and Knights of the Blazing Sun are available for play if active subscribers completed the Heavy Metal event. If you didn’t take part in the event don’t worry, both careers will become available to everyone next week. Many careers have also had their mastery points refunded, and there are some performance updates and bug fixes too.

I think I'll wait to see what they come out with in 1.1

It was really fun at first, but around half-way through tier 2 i got really bored doing the same thing over and over.

I know it changes at T4, but i thought it kind of cheap to have to go through a "wash/rinse/repeat" cycle for 3/4 of the game to get to the good stuff.

Just my opinion.

I played WAR for less than I played AoC. Absolutely nothing compelling in WAR

I found that scenarios happened every 5-10mins for me. But whatever, I don't play anymore. Got to level 21 and yeah.
Read the changes though, looks fsck sweet.

Its been pretty hectic over the past week or so (on Darklands anwyay)

Currently doing T3, lots of warband RVR 24 v 24 in the open kind of stuff + Keep battles (and im not in a clan or anything)

Had to turn down the eye candy on the vid card as its just couldnt handle it

the open RvR is even more chaotic now that there are a lot more melee players...

used to be that we have a clear front line, now we got a whole mess of hostiles everywhere.

Loving the new morale ability eye candy. Finding the game runs a lot smoother.

I pretty much popped scenarios non stop last night in T3. More people in T4 are participating in oRvR or running Bastion Stair etc now rather than continual scenario trains.

Bright Wizards have finally been balanced and scenarios are much more fun than they used to be.

The game is doing great on Darklands at least.
