Forza Motorsport 3 to feature much Japanese racing

Microsoft have provided us with some information regarding the Japanese vehicles and circuits that will feature in the Xbox 360 exclusive racing sim, Forza Motorsport 3, which is currently scheduled for release in October.

Among the Japanese content to feature in the game are three tracks, and a number of vehicles. The tracks to feature in the game include the Suzuka Circuit, Twin Ring Motegi, and the Tsukuba Circuit.

As can be expected, you'll be able to tear about the Japanese tracks using Japanese vehicles, and we've got a list of the Japanese cars you can expect to see in the game to share with you.

Might have to get this, 400+ cars? Hell yeah, sounds like the Gran Turismo of Xbox.

Those three tracks were in Forza 2 as well. The short form of Motegi was the demo track for 2.
Hope we don't have to wait all the way through till release to find out which Australian track/s made the cut.

There's suspicion that it's 100 courses, rather than actual tracks. So Motegi Short and Motegi Long are "two" tracks.

If they leave out Bathurst I'm going to cry. Don't really care about the rest.

Pretty sure the demo track was Mugello Short mate, all variants of the Motegi course were in a dlc pack, but yeah, really would like to see Bathurst in there, you could have some awesome enduro's around there, just imagine the amount of Aussies replicating the Bathurst 1000 with their painted VXR's etc.

Sorry, you're right. They both start with M, I get them confused.

Bathurst would also be good for replicating the various races before the big race, like the porsches and Minis and whatever else they do these days.
And setting up a field of Holden/Ford cars for the 1000 and racing a Volvo.

I didn't mind the first game when I had an xbox 1. Sounds pretty good now, pity its never coming to PS3.

It was funny listening to the most recent Pitpass Report and the presenters really put it into context when they said "You can drive a differant car everyday for an entire year and still not get through all of them" at that point I stopped, scratched my head for a minute and realized OMG! I never thought of it that way :mrgreen:
