Bethesda are certainly busy lately; not only are they off upsetting people all over the place, they're also apparently ready to dish out the sort of tasty news gamers are hungry for as well as dashing their hopes and dreams. The latest excitement to hit the press arrived in a glorious double-decker whammy, with the surprising news that Bethesda seems to be planning both movies and a TV series based on the Fallout universe acting as an appetiser to the astonishingly-timed if not unexpected main course: a second Bethesda RPG in the Fallout universe is already on its way.

I'd like to see them release a radio show about the adventures of Herbert "Daring" Dashwood and his stalwart Ghoul manservant Argyle, but maybe that's just me.

Whilst it worked for Earth Worm Jim, something about Fallout as a TV show sickens me- unless it were live action I feel like it's nothing more than another cash grab by those stupid greedy assholes over at ZeniMax media.

Further more, I wouldn't be surprised if a film adaptation would be argued a direct ripoff of MadMax and I fell would de-legitimize the franchise for non-gamers (as it did with Postal, Doom, Dead or Alive, Tomb Raider, Hitman ect ect), it could easily go wrong and history has told us that it "WILL" go wrong.

Just hurry the fsck up and release The next Elder Scrolls- instead of spending money on crap we'd rather not have, improve the quality of your next game and employ some GOD DAMN QA TESTERS!.

A Fallout Series would be interesting.

Although by my playing style, the series would be about a wandering nutjob that depending on which game it was based would either be about

- Fallout 1, a Pyromaniac that liked watching people dance around on fire
- Fallout 2, an ex fluffer/Boxer Jet Junkie pyromaniac with a robot sidekick
- Fallout 3, a corpse eating pyromaniac

Well Macgyver isn't on Stargate, maybe bring him back as Killian.

Vegas sounds like a great location, so I'm looking forward to this.

I am a still hoping for more Elder Scrolls though.
