Alpha Protocol - first gameplay trailer, new screens and plo

Sega Entertainment have released the first gameplay trailer from Obsidian Entertainment's modern-day RPG, Alpha Protocol. To accompany the new trailer, a series of four new screenshots have also been revealed, along with some details pertaining to the plot.

Dubbed the "modern day spy-rpg", Apha Protocol sees worldwide tensions at "at breaking point" when a U.S missile strikes a commercial jet in the skies of Europe, killing everyone on board. In the ensuing political and public relations nightmare, the U.S government sends agent Michael Thorton in to investigate - and he's given the authority to bring those responsible for the act to justice.

that lockpicking mini-game looks like oblivion's /fail

But the rest of the game looks gold, crosses between Mass Effect, Deus Ex, Splinter Cell and Metal Gear Solid. I've been hearing a lot about the game. Oh and yeah some Golden Eye from the looks of things too

Should be interesting assuming Sega doesn't go soft on the QA- that's the only reason why Mass Effect was in such a good shape so they by now should understand how this stuff works-- then again this is the moronic publisher that still stands by the "Quality" of Sonic Team lol.

We'll see how it looks on release day.

i hope they use a new engine because the last game i played from Obsidian was NWN2 and that ran like crap on my pc. seriously, out of all the pc games i own NWN2 maxed out was the most demanding on my pc.

game looks very interesting though, definitely keeping an eye on it.
