Seriously maxis fsck you. This is an insult to gamers everywhere who had to fork out the cash for their broken POS of a game and then only to have parts worth 2x what the Creature Creator cost us forced on us again.. and then you add on the fact that a $50 expansion will be out soon too.

Frankly they can go get fsck. I'm not buy any Maxis poop unless its $10 for the entire fsck box set. They are such a dodgy developer.. I should have figured that after Sim Societies was the biggest pile of steaming poop ever released by the company.. and now this.

Further more Will Wright should seriously fsck design games instead of being a worthless pos PR guy.. He's worse than Garriot, Molyneux and even Todd Howard from Bethesda. I'm sick of this poop. Its unethical and I've notice is becoming a trend. Like what, did these guys learn this poop from Gates and Jobs?! cause they were sure fsck brilliant at doing it.

Agreed. Spore could have been so much more. After playing it through once I really cbf playing it again.

Sim Earth had so much more depth and kept me coming back for months on end.

i feel so bloody ripped off. the poster i got with the CE of spore is better than the damned game itself (mind its an awesome poster). up your arse, maxis, up your pretentiously deluded artsy fsck hole.

The only reason I didn't get spore was because Maxis was involved. Looks like I made the right choice

I remember soooo looking forward to this.
Bought the Creature Creator and all, waiting for the day it came out.
Then forgot about it for a moment, then remembered and was about to buy it, but decided to read some reviews.
Those coupled with everything I've heard from the players, I'm so glad I didn't buy it. Just sounds like one big massive gimmick after another, with the gameplay depth of match stick.



With EA as their publisher, I'm not surprised at all.

in comparing the similarities between this news article and the press release, it would have been nice to include a bit of editorial opinion as to the above.
