I Just don't understand why it is so popular.

Id like to hear peoples thought's about the game and its 3 (soon to be 4) Expansion packs.

Would try out the trial, but its so big for my tiny quota.

Because you want to try an MMO set in this universe.

If the story/world don't interest you, and playing an MMO doesn't interest you, then you shouldn't play it.
