Continuum (tv series)

Started out a bit slow but it's probably worth a few episodes to see if it picks up.

MASTER BRA'TAC!!!!!!!

It looked interesting up until all the 2012 scenes. I guess the whole 'wtf happened in that room and how'd they go back in time instead of being executed?' is part of a mystery cause that was pretty confusing.

I want a good ole fashioned space opera or series set in the future again. :(

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFffff, thanks exe. That was bothering me through the whole episode last night, but then I promptly forgot to look up the actor.

Getting rarer and rarer, it's cheaper to set it in 2012 and just disguise your run of the mill cop show as science fiction, all the promising scifi just gets canceled.

Spoilers.
Hidden: show
From what I watched I guessed that the guard that was supposed to be shackling them (or something) gave them a device the kids older self (alec?) made which sent them back in time when it was powered by whatever the beam was.

With her husband and his boss (alec?) knowing it was going down by their looks, the husband just didn't know she was going to go back like his boss did.

If that makes sense.

It was choc full of Stargate Alum, Master Bra'tac and Dr Lam from SG1 and Grace and Varro from SGU, plus pretty much a who's who of other popular shows' different stars.

The show wasn't bad either, other then the odd 'bad acting' in parts (especially the scene(s) when they go back to the police station after it was attacked - made me cringe) but that's just minor nitpicking. Should get better as the show progresses.

Being a Canadian show it has a much better chance of surviving too.

This ^

She might not be a contender for best actress but she's better than a lot of tv stars, the fact that she's pretty damn nice to look at also compensates for that, besides, she's not exactly working with a contender for best screenplay here... usually with scifi on tv you have to just ignore it and remember that you can't polish a turd while being grateful you aren't watching Jersey Shore.

The only bit which was bad IMO was the part on the train, no idea what the static on her arm was and the very bad lines as she was getting off.

:( Endgame was Canadian, and it didn't make it past it's first season. I really liked that show.
