SHADOW RAIDERS!

honestly, I just finished watching both seasons of this on DVD and its even better than I remember. The last five episodes in particular are ridiculously good.

any other fans? I can't be the only one...

P.S. this thread is definitely worth it, I'm literally ready to start a petition to get them to make more episodes.

geeze, you guys are disappointing, this show was EPIC.

four worlds at war for centuries unite to form an alliance against the beast planet, a world eating, death star-like apocalypse machine. Its pretty much the most awesome kids show ever... hell it stands up as a 23 year old show.

EDIT:^haha, that doll probably gave kids nightmares

Fine, I guess I'll have to step up to the plate (would've entered sooner but the thread title gave me no reason to :P ).

I LOVED this show as a kid but I guess it got cancelled as I don't remember a proper conclusion. One of the last things I remember was the rock girl becoming the new leader of the rock planet after Lord Mantel was killed and the rock guy couldn't do it because he was managing the alliance.

Pretty sure I actually got one of the War Planets toys as well lol. Think it might have been the Beast Planet that opens up to reveal an environment to move your figurines in.

Pretty cool series but I don't know how i'd feel if I was to watch it today. :P

And THERE is your 90's kids defense post.

But seriously the 90's were the best times to be a kid. I can't imagine being a kid today with the absolute cr@p that passes for cartoons that kids get these days.

haha, thanks man.

there was a conclusion of sorts, sounds like you only missed it by one episode. Kind of a Star Wars IV ending, "yay we won, but the emperor/darth vadar is still out there" so a happy ending while leaving the door open for more seasons.

for the bold bit, that's exactly how I felt before I started watching it but I honestly couldn't have been more wrong.. not only did it offer a HUGE amount of pure nostalgia value it actually holds up as quite a high quality piece of story telling. Sure there are a few lame bits here and there but thoroughly worth a re-watch in my opinion :D
