Haha, judging by the internet, I thought I was the only person that liked the first one. :D

Looking forward to this one to.

+1

I treat all comic-book movies the same, I leave my brain at the door and go along for the ride. Wasn't particularly familiar with the Ghost Rider character, but enjoyed the flick. Probably helps that, unlike the Internet hivemind, I like Nick Cage as a B-grade actor. :)

@Mekon, Nicholas Cage is awesome, love his stuff, he always makes a roll fun, especially the lower the 'grade' of the film :D he brought a lot of Ghost Rider's character to the roll and chewed up the fun that was there to be had!

/begin slightly off thread topic section

I pretty much enjoy most films I see, its not that hard to find a positive in a film and I really don't enjoy being overly critical about stuff unless its justified or necessary!

I liked Ang Lee's Hulk film *puts up shield in preparation for comments responding to that*, I thought it was a very interesting move, Ang Lee was a very popular director at the time, Eric Bana very popular actor, both known for doing strong work. They weren't obviously the best choice to make that sort of film at a time when comic movies were still being promoted as 'not ****' and as such Louis Letterier making an action flick for next Hulk film did a much better job but the work Ang Lee did, a very emotional take on the Hulk film, I really liked it for what it was, it just wasn't quite what it was meant to be, what Marvel were looking for :D

/begin Chucky response

Edward Norton was fricking awesome, i really loved that film and definately prefer it over Ang Lee/Eric Bana's film, that is for sure. Hulk made by person behind Transporter was a wet dream come true when I heard about it. Ang Lee's Hulk was a completely different film and I enjoyed its differences :)

/end response to Chucky.

i loved Ang Lees version of the hulk. the whole sequence from when he gets cluster bombed at his childhood house, to the beating up tanks and helicopter chase scene made that movie frikken awesome

i got kinda bored in the edward nortan version, but that said, i still enjoyed it

and back on topic. If nick cage wasnt in this, i probably wouldnt see it.

Well I finally got around to watching the new Ghost Rider film, and my god is it bad! :(

I went in expecting it to be like the first movie and it was nothing alike. It is like they thought, 'how can we make ghost rider darker like the batman movies' so they tried but the movie fails hard! Was great to see Christopher Lambert in a movie again, but fk me why did he have to pick this one to act in.

Yeah, although I enjoyed the first one I got about 30 minutes into the second before I turned it off and haven't been back. It really is terrible.

I USED to like Cage (see: Gone in 60 Seconds, Lord of War, The Rock, Con Air) but seriously he has not been in anything good for a very long time now.
