@ Nekosan

Book spoilers I believe.

I know that the guy who burned Winterfell was the same guy (described as some guys B@stard) who was meant to liberate it. The thing is that I don't remember anything said about this B@stard let alone anything that would make him want to burn Winterfell.

I'm putting alot of the things that were not clearly mentioned down to them saving it for next season to reduce confusions with more characters. They will probably explain more then.

You mean other than the fact that Roose Bolton said on 2-3 different occasions that his **** had levied some more men and was waiting for Robs leave to retake Winterfell? Also it has been mentioned that **** are generally cruel people due to their up bringing

book/season 3 spoilers to continue above

Basically house Bolton is the traditional enemy in the north of House Stark, 1000 years ago the Boltons were known for flaying an entire section of the starks and hanging the skins up like banners, they were subjugated and then 300 years ago rose up again and were finally put down, flaying was banned but the sigil of house Bolton is still a flayed man on a bloody field, their words are still "our knives are sharp, and a flayed man holds no secrets (i think).

Basically they're pissed at always being under the Stark's thumbs and this has given them the perfect excuse to burn it, also Ramsay Snow is a complete psychopath (he hunts women for sport and then flays them alive).

This.

Also, was freaking out at the end because I was so worried Daenerys was going to die. But thankfully, no. Phew...

Can't wait for the next season!

That's my favourite scene from all the books so far, I noticed he had the white in his hair at the end and I'm wondering if it was there all along and i missed it? Or was it a bit of a gimme for the fans?

You should have read most of it i think, from memory it's actually slightly behind the books.

I think some peeps might have had issues understanding that last bit because until that scene they only showed the "fist of the first men" as a **** hill rather than the spire it was in the books and in that final shot, hell the raiders (snow/halfhand) climbed some crazy **** in the book and in the series they just walked up a little hill.

It's been there all along I believe, you can see it in this image from early in episode 2.

Tyrion getting abandoned by everyone but shae
tywin walking in on the throne room (i could be wrong, but i dont remember him at kings landing in the book, if i managed to miss something that massive in the book im clearly retarded :P)
prostitute (ros?) scene with varys
jaime and brienne
robs scene with random woman (and the one with his mother)
(so far, thats the first 20 minutes basically apart from the sansa/joffry scene, that isnt in the second book)
stannis/mel
theon's speech and being knocked out
Dany going into the house of the undying (this did happen in the book, but so differently it may aswell be an entire new scene. hell, they rewrote the entirety of qarth for the tv)
winterfell burning..
more qarth scenes that were just made up
white walkers and scene at the end..

All that just shows us how much they changed season 2 from the book, the final episode and how... different it is is a good example.
different, not bad. i loved the final ep, thought it was brilliant. but it just didnt feel right that even though i'd read the second book, most of the time i still had no idea what was going on.

pretty sure it wasnt a spire, just a hill with rock like fingers poking up out of it. The watch were camping in the palm of the "hand" iirc. Seem to remember Snow walking up and down it a few times.

Most of the stuff you've listed happens similarly in the books I just cant remember which books.
Ros was created for the TV series, although she loosely fills the role of the **** Tyrion uses to cover his tracks when he visits Shae.
Theon storyline is almost completely different albeit with the same result.
Qarth yeah :|
Damn I was so sure the Whitewalker attack on the fist of the first men was in book 2 :P

yeah thats kinda my problem with it auld, some of the scenes from season 2, are in the beginning of book 3 (ive only read 50 pages of it so far)
which worries me because season 3 is meant to be only the first half of storm of swords, right? They're already taking stuff from it and putting it into previous seasons :/

Also one thing that i noticed that was just... weird. The scene between catlyn and jaime in season 1 (after hes captured), that happened late in book 2 :s
Not a big thing at all, as it didnt affect the story, but im just confused why they're telling the story all over the place :/

They aren't shadow, the story in the books was just all over the place because 10 chapters in a book all might happen at the same time, it's only going to get weirder as they get into book 3/4.

Well the books storyline is all over the place, so I suppose they are trying to straighten it out for the series. They want the climax to happen all in one episode where as a book generally has a climax separately for each character then switches to telling the story for another character.
