Than a Joss Whedon production?

It's kind of sort of new, but also not.

A bio of H.R.Giger (he did the artwork and models for Alien) which I picked up mid 90's. A strange man with some very exotic works. Also have the filmbook of Alien somewhere in the house. Basicly the film in pics.

Was gonna say it reminded me of Dark Seed, then looked it up and the art was by H.R.Giger... LOL.

Well I certainly enjoyed it. It won't live up to the enormous hype machine it's created but it's still a VERY solid movie.

It's just good to have a big budget Sci-Fi tbh. GIVE ME MOAR!

Was never going to be able to top Alien or Aliens, but was enjoyable, and I think a second viewing might be in order. Needs more tension to be honest, and kinda hoping Prometheus 2 doesn't go all space opera on us

You're all mad.

It's been a long time since I've seen anything of this depth and calibre.

Welcome back Ridley Scott. We've missed you.

I thoroughly enjoyed it. Probably not as awesome as James Cameron's Aliens but it's a different genre and it'd be comparing apples with oranges.

It's classic Ridley Scott and very much on par with the original Alien. Better than Alien 3, Resurrection, etc. etc.

The acting was great and I loved the whole production design. It felt very believable and at no point did I feel like I was watching a bunch of actors standing in front of a green screen, despite the setting on a alien planet.

Whilst you don't have to be a Alien fan to enjoy this, you definitely get a lot more of the story if you have seen Alien.

**** awweessommmeeee. I really enjoyed this movie. fassbender's performance was magnificent.

just a warning, some scenes were quite intense, people who don't like gore/violence/graphic scenes probably won't like this movie.

my only complaint is there is almost too much content, I think a slightly longer movie could have been possible. maybe it was like this originally, and they wanted to keep the tempo up.

Hidden: show
yes. it actually is a very good prequel in this sense.

that first scene was interesting. it seemed to imply that he was on earth, and that's how they seed life. but the look of that planet was so similar to the other planet they went to. someone on the internet seemed to think it was a bio-weapon experiment that just happened to seed life.

loved everything about david's character and what he did. so purposeful and detached.
