Haven't been the biggest fan of Aussie hip hop to be honest. It tends to get stuck in a rut like "centrelink, bongs and Grand Master Flash" really quickly, but I have to admit I like your stuff. You've got some real tallent mate.

Haha listening to the wrong dudes then man. Check out people like Horrorshow, The Herd (Ozi Batla and Urthboy from the Herd also have some solo stuff which is good), Melodics (kind of a mixture of oz hip hop and electro, kinda), older Hood's stuff is great in terms of meaningfulness, Drapht is always good for some fun, great lyricist too, Funkoars are pretty good too but they tend to fall into your generalisation of centrelink and bongs and Bliss and Eso can go either way, they've got the occasional party "centrelink and bongs" type song but then a lot of their **** is really lyrical and brilliant. There's a lot more underground guys who are great too who actually say something when they get behind a mic
