quick question

Unread postby The_Pharoah » 21 Oct 11, 11:13 pm

Hi guys

I have an XBOX 360 but can't find the box, however I wanted to see if I could use my xbox console with my PC (to play FIFA12 on pc). I have two questions:

1. does the standard xbox 360 set come with a connection which connects the actual controller to the xbox? (I know its wireless). I can't find the box hence I don't know if it does come with it as standard or if I have to buy it; and

2. if I found the connector or whatever which I'm assuming as a USB on one end, can I connect that to the PC and use it ingame?

thanks

I assuming you mean if you can use your Xbox controller with you computer?

You can connect either a wireless or wired controller. However for the wireless you need to use a special wireless receiver you plug into your computer you get when buying a controller. These special wireless receivers are getting rare I think. (I think you can get them in eBay pretty easily)

If you have a wired controller then plug it in and away you go.

Here are the microsoft drivers. http://www.microsoft.com/hardware/en-au ... or-windows

You can also use PS3 controller (Complete with sixaxis) via the USB charge cable. You just need to download custom software for that.
