Has anyone got UK 360 games to work on an Aussie 360?

I've done a net search and with most of these questions getting both 'yes' and 'no' responses...

My copy of the original Rock Band is a UK version. I think I may have another game from the UK as well but I can't recall.
As far as I know it usually works. You could try other sources like Play-Asia instead though, depending on what game you're after.

Was thinking of getting a 360 Elite as I saw one with two controllers, extra HDD and Mass Effect 2 for $300 (last one and I'm going for it!).

Don't like the price of games in Oz so was thinking of getting them from Ozgameshop for ~$20 each (well, the Halos and Gears of War games that is). It I can keep the price of the games low, the 360 would be worth it just to play Halo 3, ODST, Reach and GoW 2 and 3.
