I managed to install it to hdd, but it only recognizes the disk one time out of 15 and it still requires that to play.
Rang xbox support and after 25 minutes they told me they have never experienced my exact problem before and informed me that they can fix it for a cool $180 plus postage. They didn't say exactly what they would fix.. so i can't do it myself.

Definitely not sending them $180.

They are lying! I have had one do that a few years ago.

It is your disc drive, it is not worth even close to $180!

Bert` wrote:Has anyone had troubles with their play disk yet? I purchased it today, got home and the xbox recognized the disk as a dvd and kept trying to 'play DVD'. After surfing other forums i found its fairly common. I took my disk back to target and got it exchanged, only to have the second one stuff up aswell. I was starting to think it was my xbox untill endless ejecting and trying again caused the disk to correctly work once. Pretty peeved- back to target tomorrow for another exchange i guess.

Yep i had exactly the same problem the first time i played it. I had to put the disk in about 5 times for it to recognise it as a game. Worked fine after that, but i was only renting it from a video store so it didnt bother me that much. Also my firend had it happen to him but he bought his game, but he's taking it back to EB now anyway as another of my mates knocked his xbox over while the game was in there.

ZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAARGHHGHGHZZZZZZZZZHAH /console eats disk.

Played this the other night after not having played it for 2 or 3 weeks, haven't been going nuts think I'm Major Class 1 or something....

Anyway is anyone else feeling we've been a bit short changed on the maps?

I love it that they've nicked off SWAT/Snipers from the normal playlist but seriously we seem short on maps in this game. I feel like they thought they could get away with less maps at release as the maps PLUS the game-type cycle (i.e. like we won't get bored playing Reflection as slayer, pro-slayer, dmr slayer, elite slayer etc etc).

Anyway I guess this is just a **** & moan lol.

Also why the heck does that low grav map (Zealot??) only come up once in a blue moon. Plus I wish they'd change the pics on the approx. 4 forge maps that are all the same (& hence I never know which is which).

Well this all probably got mentioned on day 2 (minus the change to swat) but anyways.... :P

OK going to go away and have some chamomile tea now :)

You aren't the only one.

The MP maps in Reach suck compared to the other Halo games.
They need larger maps.

You guys.

They are just waiting for a while before they release "exclusive" map packs that really should have been included from the start.

Spent one hour and fifty six minutes the other night scoring 1 million on Legendary Firefight. My hands re cramped afterwards.

Looking fkrward to some Halo 3 and Reach multi over the coming week, plenty more gamerscore to earn. Speaking of which, see my sig now (just over 28k) and then look at it this evening :D I've been busy while away!

Took me about 10-20 minutes.

Downloaded a custom firefight though.

Halo Reach Montage

Unread postby Jamage » 16 Dec 10, 4:45 pm

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRXkqwl9jRE

My 7th and easily best Halo multiplayer montage and the 1st for the full version of Halo Reach. It turned out amazing.
It features heaps of insane multikills (over 20 Overkills), no scopes, sticks, splatters, kill spree medals and overkills with about half the weapons and vehicles in the game.

I put heaps of effort into it so please take a look, rate, comment and hopefully you'll enjoy it half as much as I do.

Ah man, just watched this. Absolutely awesome, bloody well done to you. Some of the kills had me literally lol'ing. Would NOT want to come up against you in Reach any time soon :)

Halo really is a special shooter.. wish I'd gotten into it from the very start but still, I'm enjoying Halo 3 and Reach as often as I can. Do pretty well too!
