This is a really hard topic to talk about because Microsoft really stuffed up and i had the same problem (Which i fixed). First question! Is your home phone and internet modem both hooked to the same port? Second question! Are you using a wireless connection or an ethernet cable? What ever you do dont ring Microsoft because they do jackall, they really don't know how to solve the problem they just say that you have to do all this port forwarding stuff and blaa, it never worked for me.
