Has anyone got this on PS3?

I was keen to get this one but all the reviews say it's buggy and crashes... any word on a patch?

There was word from deadislandgame on twitter that the dev team are working on a patch for PS3, main focus seems to be autosave and trophy fixes.

I haven't read a whole lot of reviews, but the few I did read mainly point towards game save errors/bugs, some players losing 10-16 hours worth of gameplay.
My copy should hopefully arrive tomorrow in the post, so I'll find out how bad it is soon enough. :)

If you're unsure just buy from a store where you're able to return it for full refund. i.e. EB Games

Yeah, I've heard similar in that the 360 or PC versions are the way to go. Pity as a 4 player open world co-op game is quite appealing to me. Guess I do have Resistance 3 to enjoy in the meantime.

And get ripped off for the convenience by paying double what it's worth - no thank you ;)

Thanks for the tip though, I'll wait and see what other gamers think first.

When I say buy it from EB, I mean "rent" it for 7 days - if you enjoy it then purchase from your preferred store/website.

Yeah, neither version is without its bugs, the 360 version seems the least buggy though.
Anyhow you just have to wait till Q2 2012, Borderlands 2 is expected sometime around April. Yay! :D

I suggested that to my bro... he forgot to return the game and he also had another, cheaper copy coming from Ozgameshop. It's only a ploy worth considering for those who are organised and remember to do things on time.

I'm counting the days... OK, not really (especially when I have a calendar with alerts) but you get the picture. My bro and I still have the DLC for the first Borderlands to finish in the meantime as well as Resistance 3 to run through. Should see us through to April next year. I was almost going to purchase Dungeon Siege III LE from Ozgameshop ($22 on PS3) but they've sold out :x

The only time I buy from EB these days is when what I want isn't available from Ozgameshop, like Resistance 3 LE steelbook.

I was kicking myself that I didn't purchase Dungeon Siege III LE when I could - hmm buy the limited edition for $21 or the standard edition is $39... hard choice.
But I waited too long and missed it. :(

That was my thoughts too... why get the standard edition when the LE is cheaper and has more?

But in my case, I only saw it this morning... when they were sold out. Oh well, as if I don't have enough top down RPGs to finish first... Marvel Ultimate Alliance, Untold Legends Dark Kingdom, and Dead Nation if one could class that as an RPGish game.
