Splinter Cell HD - any thoughts?

Unread postby mr_mad » 18 Aug 11, 4:29 pm

Anyone interested or has anyone already downloaded any of these?

I have about $15.00 sitting in my psn wallet so was thinking of buying one. I have Chaos Theory as an xbox original but have never played it other than about 20 mins. Seems like that's rated the highest of the 3 but what would people go for if they had the choice?

Also anyone else hear that you can't invert "y" axis but they're "looking into it"? That's slightly turning me off as I don't think I could play a first or third person game without an inverted y axis.

Also I know i'll be able to pick all 3 up on bluray soonish but after something to play and have fun with now... particularly would love to hear if anyone's played any, how good do they look, is what I heard about the y axis true etc...

:)

We should have a review of these up later next week :)

I've played around with them a bit and they're pretty, though Chaos Theory is still the best.

Thanks Tim look forward to checking out the reviews! Info i've been able to find on the net so far seems to have been slim pickings... maybe it's just me and my google skills are lacking!!

The "y" axis part is freaking me out and I did read some comments (Eurogamer maybe) that some people were disappointed in the graphics and looked a bit like a cheap port... :(

GON will set things straight I'm sure :)
