Little Big Planet 2

Unread postby That_Stevens_Guy » 12 May 10, 10:40 am

This game is awesome beyond comprehension. I have come to the conclusion that anyone that doesn't like or enjoy Little Big Planet is boring.

Little Big Planet 2 is doing exactly what I hoped they would do, improve the game but allow you to carry your old levels and content along with it. So it really just becomes one huge game with each title release.

Most people have seen the trailer, I was late on this one, kinda came out of nowhere for me.

Awesome year of gaming ahead, with ModNation Racers and LBP2... plus the other 'hardcore' titles I plan on picking up.

The trailer came out two days ago. I only found out about it today and I'm kind of surprised it hasn't recieved more attention. Ah well, can't wait for it.

Yeah, compatibility with the original levels was a good touch... being able to build your own games... now that's something!

I want my SUPER SACK FIGHTER IV!

Perhaps I can now convince my friend who wants that media station to consider the PS3.

If they can really pull of what the trailer shows (assuming its not 100% actual game made footage) then it will be amazing.

November 2010 apparently. Which sounds about right to me.

I could do with a new game around that time... though, Lost Planet 2, MNR and Blur should be much cheaper by then as well.

I wonder if we'll be able to create our own power ups?

The website states that they've added a grappling gun and bounce pads. I wonder if there will be the option to add in more traditional timed power ups like speed boosts, jump boosts, invincibility, etc for some old school platforming designs.

I'll be getting it the day of release hopefully, but I have a stack of games I need to trade so I dunno if I'll be able to get the pre-order version.

Are you able to trade on pre-orders, for once EB doesn't have the most expensive price :P GAME gives better trade value, same price aswell.

Yeah that's what I am thinking, we're going into town next week, figure it'll be too busy today anyway.

I have a feeling my sister is getting me the sackboy controller holder for christmas, a package arrived from the UK, and I signed for it lol. So I don't really need the plushie :P but the other stuff kinda makes it worth the little extra.
