Need for Speed The Run. Your thoughts

Anyone else here on GoN played NFS The Run yet?
I bought the limited edition of NFS The Run from GAME for $58 and I must say, its got to be one of the better NFS titles in recent years that I have personally played.

But what's your thought's on it?

I'm waiting for the cheapest copy possible as I've not heard terribly complimentary things about it.

How does the cornering compare to the latest Hot Pursuit? I'd happily buy car games from Criterion forever.

Its more realistic than hot pursuit, and has a better storyline in my opinion.

Out of all the latest NFS releases I feel that this is one of the better ones

Yeah it's not bad at all. If you dig cheesy car movies and have a few hours to burn with a mate one night, it's certainly something you could play through.

I didn't think it was that terrible at all, playing it with a 360 gamepad .

For the right price I'd say go for it

its not the worst NFS game and its not the best.. it a typical arcade racer.. its fun to jump in for a few races every few days. graphics and sound are quite nice. i wasnt sure how the frostbite engine would suit a racing game like this but it turned out alright. (playing on PC with x360 controller)

I believe that one of the best NFS titles was, and in my opinion still is, NFS: Underground 2.

I'd love to see either a re-make and a continuing story for Underground, but I think they would destroy it if they did. Games these days aren't to the same quality as what they used to be.
