Xbox Console prices

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a 250GB Xbox with Kinect.
I've checked the usual spots for prices, and the best I can find is game.com.au @ $498.

Does anyone know a better place (or price) to shop?

Sounds like that's the best you're going to get at the moment mate. The prices have all risen since the big sales to get people interested in Kinect. I picked up a 250GB Slim + Kinect bundle a few months back for $488, but that was when Big W had an epic sale on and other people were dropping their prices to compete.

For anyone after a xbox I ended up getting this for $498 from the good guys. Not an advertised special, they just were able to do that price after some convincing.

Going further on what jpeyper stated before, these days most major video games retailers bundle the console with and assortment of games, even with Kinect.

Take JB HiFI for example, you can buy the Xbox 360 Slim 250GB for a competitive price of $399 however thye also offer what they call the "X360 KINECT 250GB ULTIMATE PACK". This includes the Xbox 360 Slim 250GB console, Kinect, Dance Central, Kinect Adventures and Sonic Free Riders for the price of $549.

Generally my recommendation to you skyfox is to go out there to your local shops and have a look around, price match!
