higher than usual pings to servers 15 & 13

Not sure if this is a server or client problem but I noticed my ping to both servers sitting around 50. Where it's normally between 20 and low 30's.

Not sure if anyone else is having this problem. Have rebooted my router but my ping is still higher than usual.

never mind, it came good again after I left the router off for 10 minutes.

It spikes badly (for everyone) when there are numerous people speaking (mic). Is there a way to avoid this massive spike hike?
