Sv pure server side to stop material hacks?

Just wondering how people feel about this? i see alot of really obvious people running around knowing where people are. y not use sv_pure to restrict this so players know they are up against people who r not using material hacks?

There are a few reasons why we don't have it turned on main one is people like playing with custom skins etc as it brings something new to a very old game. It is something that i have thought about changing however they are banned just the same as someone using a 3rd party program.

If they are as blatant as you say they are then feel free to grab a demo and submit it here and they will be banned or even call an admin from within the game. Info on that can be found here

there is a setting you can put it on that only disables mats that you set, so you can make it not take off player ones only wall and floor mats.

sv_pure
If set to 1, the server will force all client files except the whitelisted ones(in pure_server_whitelist.txt) to match the server. If set to 2, than pure_server_whitelist.txt is ignored and all content files come from Steam.
Default Value: 0
sv_pure_kick_clients
If set to 1, the server will kick clients with mismatching files. Otherwise, it will issue a warning to the client.
Default Value: 0
sv_pure_trace
If set to 1, the server will print a message whenever a client is verifying a CRC for a file.
Default Value: 0
