Why does no one play this mod anymore? The best fun ive ever had playing CS is on the GG servers when 2-3 people are up to nade/knife round watching them try to stalk the low health players to get that final kill

the maps killed it for me... and the rise in popularity of the turbo mode. dont know about other people though.

I have found more people play the Game arena Gun Games more than the node servers so maybe that's why you haven't seen many people on?

I see there 3 servers full almost all the time.

They were popular... but people complained about the maps and they got changed. then the servers died.

change it back an they will come!

Most people like myself play on the GA Gungame servers. Most people are friendly but a few are really loud on there mics so sometimes its best to mute them.

Server 2 is the most popular followed by server 3 and server 1. I'm usually on server 3 but it has alot of bigger maps which i tend to avoid when the time comes.

And they do have ranks. Not directly on the servers but at http://www.gametracker.com which is why most of the regulars are on the servers and why they are full most of the time.

Oh and you will not receive another nade on nade level if you get a knife kill. When i asked why, they said it is in the mod but doesn't work for some reason. Thats probably the only problem i have.

Its quite enjoyable but don't call hacks on the regulars, they will only laugh at you.

Hey Guys.

I've just about finished moving, and I'll be working on my old haunt CSS:1 - Gungame over the weekend.

I'm looking for suggestions on improvements, I've already got a basic list of maps I absolutely know must go away - What would you like to see done?

It should be more or less reverted back to the way it used to be when it was incredibly popular. Adding so many maps was pretty annoying, get rid of the horrible ones too (as you've said) and apparently no turbo mode.

I could possibly come up with a list of favorited maps that are played on GA servers as i'm usually there and know alot of maps people don't like and do like. I can ask around and see what i come up with.

I know sewers is a no-no.
Churches is good.

I don't like non-turbo, only because i don't want the game to go on forever.

Also have it set to reverse Gungame. That way we don't have people stomping on everyone as they go up in level.

I miss the days where i'd keep everyone on glock. Turbo mode took away the need to build knifing skills. And by that i mean all the cheeky stuff like following a team and picking them off one by one. People used to hear my knife and go "oh s***".
