Description

Basic Software Pack you can try out VRC using the 3 tracks that are included.

VRC is a state-of-the-art r/c racing sim combined with on-line competitions, championships and rankings. VRC provides the same set-up technology as is used in 'real' r/c racing with different chassis, bodies, engines and pipes to choose from to optimize performance. A choice of world renown tracks is available to race or practice on. Practice off-line or enter the daily competitions on any of the tracks that you own. Or register for any of the on-line competitions to compete with racers from around the globe to get high up on the ranking tables. In VRC v.2 you can now race with very realistic computer opponents for an even more intense and adrenaline pumping r/c experience.


v3.2 users:
To update your game to version 3.5 download the VRC Updater installer from section Updates. Do NOT download the basic game software.

With the basic VRC software package you can install VRC on your PC and create your VRC member account.

This package only contains the free Oslo, RC Speedway and VRC Drift & Stunt Park tracks.

To start using real tracks you must purchase one of the 3 VRC Basic Game Packs from the VRC e-shop (this requires you to first install VRC and to create your account). The Basic Game Pack contains 10 tracks, the bonus VRC Stunt & Drifter Park, and a 12 months racing license for unlimited online racing excitement.

TRY VRC FIRST...
With the Basic Software Pack you can try out VRC using the 3 tracks that are included. If all works fine you pc or notebook is capable of running the VRC software and you can then purchase any of the 3 available Game packs.

What are the minimum system requirements for the Virtual RC Racing software?

VRC is a high-end racing sim. For best control, realism and play, your system should be able to run VRC with minimum 25 frames per second.

The minimum system requirements are:
- Windows 98 or higher
- Pentium 4 1Ghz or better
- 128 Mb RAM
- Graphics card with hardware T&L, like GeForce 3, Radeon 9000 or similar card
- 56K Dial-up connection

The recommended system requirements are:
- Windows XP
- Pentium 4 2 Ghz or better
- 512 Mb RAM
- Graphics card with hardware T&L, e.g. GeForce 4 FX5600, Radeon 9600 or similar
- Cable or (A)DSL internet connection

Your computer should have a permanent or dial-up internet connection, necessary to download track and program updates, to activate your member account, and to unlock your tracks.

Please, do not buy anything from the e-shop until you 've successfully run VRC on your computer.
