Full game client for the open beta of Eligium - The Chosen One, the newest free-to-play fantasy MMORPG from Frogster.

ELIGIUM - The Chosen One challenges players to see if they have what it takes to be the Chosen One and free the world from the invading demonic hordes. But ELIGIUM offers far more than dungeons and group instances seething with hostile monsters. This free-to-play MMO stands out from the crowd with its exceptionally captivating gameplay and a collection of features encompassing a range of genres.

The open beta launched on February 15, 2012.


The open beta is planned to run for the next few weeks during which Frogster will count on player activity and bug reporting. Special rewards for the most active open beta testers will be announced soon.

Localization - the heart of the matter!
During the open beta phase and at the moment of its official release, ELIGIUM - The Chosen One will only be available in English. Thereafter, the game will also be released in German, Polish and French. The text awaiting translation is the equivalent of four times the entire trilogy of "Lord of the Rings" and double the amount translated for other popular Frogster games.

Are you ready for battle?
As promised, no created characters will be wiped following the open beta phase. Furthermore, ELIGIUM's Community Managers have planned numerous events and competitions during the open beta phase.

How to Download and Install

Download Eligium for free to a location on your computer.
Once the download is complete, double-click on ‘Eligium Set-up’.
If a warning appears, select Allow Access or Run. Eligium will not harm your computer.
If you don’t have the necessary rights to install the game, log in as an administrator under Control Panel -> User Accounts.
The installation assistant will take it from here.
Once installation is complete, double-click on the Eligium symbol.
Enter the account details you received after registering for Eligium in the game window which then appears.

What do I need a client for?

The Eligium client contains all the game’s textures and sounds. By downloading and installing this, you can bring the entire world of this free MMO right to your desktop.
