| You will need a program like WinRar to do this. After you have extracted these files, you will have the same two installers that can be downloaded at the regular mirrors listed above. Before you start installing anything, you first have to do two things. First, you must remove your old Forgotten Hope 2 version, if you have it installed. You can do this the regular way, via windows, or you can simply delete '/fh2/' in '/Battlefield 2/mods/'. Next, you have to update to Battlefield 2 version 1.5. This is the 2 GB patch that was released on Tuesday. If you do not install this patch, you will not be able to play online, as all servers will have switched to 1.5. When you are done with this, simply start up the two installers. Be very careful to install Part 1 first and then Part 2, otherwise you will end up with a broken installation. When both files are done - you are ready to play! |
