World of Warcraft: Micro-transactions planned
During BlizzCon, World of Warcraft Production Director J. Allen Brack, confirmed suspicions that a form of micro-transactions for character customizations is in the works. No other details were divulged. Character gender and race alternatives are likely candidates. Classes that were created and pigeon-holed to a certain race based on racial skills that were later removed opened a demand for change.

Starcraft II Trilogy - Some clarification and more info
Just a few days ago, we revealed that StarCraft II would not be released as a single, massive game, but instead become a trilogy. Today, we've received some new details clarifying the nature of the "trilogy", presented in a question and answer format.

Firstly, it will not be three separate games. Instead, The StarCraft II Trilogy will consist of the "base game", and two expansion packs that will be released at a later stage. The base game (with a working subtitle of Wings of Liberty) will follow the Terrans, with a central focus on Jim Raynor. The first expansion, Heart of the Swarm (again, a working title) will focus on the Zerg and Sarah Kerrigan. The second expansion set, Legacy of the Void will see the Protoss story unfold at length.

Today, more details have emerged, which should assuage any uncertainties or misconceptions that were raised by the trilogy announcement.
