Maple Story: Woman arrested after in-game divorce lead to virtual murder!
Okay… that’s a ludicrous sensationalist title from the Associated Press article where the story originated. We guess hacking into someone’s account and deleting their character constitutes murder in a virtual sense. Ugh. This story is best summed up as hell hath no fury like a woman scorned.

A 43 year old Japanese woman became angry after finding out her in-game husband had divorced her avatar without any warning. The woman was so furious she accessed the man’s account and deleted his character. Apparently there was no real-life relationship between the two Maple Story players.

[E for All '08] Combat Arms - A free-to-play treat for FPS fans
While at the E for All Expo over the weekend, I sat down with Herb Yang, producer on Nexon's new online free-to-download / free-to-play FPS, Combat Arms.

With talk of that certain recently announced game everywhere, it was hard to not include it let alone find some good trailers. However in the shadows of one hellish game I was able to find a couple of awesome trailers for some games, that I've just learnt about, which look amazing.

This week we find some nested Dragons that might have come from a legendary box. We check in with a band that is definitely a hero and see, once again, what hilarious situation those bad army guys got themselves into this time. There is an unusual game of gridiron and a futuristic war that is raging online.

...and yes, that's Nexon from Korea, who developed MapleStory.

Nexon and Valve - Getting to the Source of the issue
When most people think of Valve, their first thought is probably something in the first-person shooter Half-Life franchise.
Similarly, when most people think of Nexon, they very likely have a mental image of side-scrolling MMORPG MapleStory.

Soon, though, the lines may get a little blurry, with the announcement that Nexon will use Valve's Source engine to power a new title currently in production for the PC. The upcoming game will be a fantasy-based, third-person action title, with more details to come in later months.
