The end of winter is upon us, unless you’re here in Queensland, where we are sweltering thanks to some unseasonable warmth. With the start of spring comes the beginning of the major holiday game release period, so from next week, we’re gonna be flooded with games. Things are a bit quieter this week – we’ve got the long awaited local release of Punch Out!! on the Wii, Sacred 2’s HD console debut, and the latest Disney/Pixar game Up for all formats.
Don’t forget to check out the full release schedule for the latest changes and information on upcoming games.

Take your twitch-reflexes and micros elsewhere; turn based strategy is a genre for gentlemen. Or ladies; it's not gender that's important here, it's an understanding of the art of war. Every aspiring general knows a handful of vital maxims, not least amongst which is knowledge is power.

So study these unit descriptions carefully - and watch this human transmission we've captured.

Hailing from Hungarian developers Stormregion, who have previously worked on the DS and PSP turn-based strategy title Codename: Panzers, Mytran Wars looks to have a lot of points in its favour, with a well-developed story line, pretty 3D maps, and multiplayer options.
