And now for something completely different.
The DS is often quite an underrated little handheld. While many people consider it to be childish, or full of non-games, every now and then, a developer (not necessarily Nintendo) pulls something out of their hat that is genuinely impressive and quite inspired.
One such developer is AQ Interactive, who have put some time and effort into creating the Korg DS-10, an effort to squish an analog synthesiser into the little dual-screened platform. We told you all about it a while ago, but now, dub3000 has gotten his hands on a copy, and thoughtfully provided us with a shiny new musical review.

KORG is a name synonymous with great quality keyboards - of the musical variety, not the typing sort. Soon though, musically-inclined gamers could be set to enjoy the winning brand in a new format, with new music-creation program KORG DS-10 currently in development for Nintendo's handheld.
Designed after and inspired by the famous KORG MS-10 synthesiser, KORG DS-10 spared no effort in creating high-quality sounds. The sound sources are taken from KORG (one of the world's top musical instrument producers), and the DS touch-screen controls are used to the fullest, providing musician-gamers with an authentic feel and operability that is unsurpassed in portable music creation. We've got first-look screens, and even a video to show you just what's in store.
