The Warp Pipe - 21/09/08
The Holiday flood begins this Thursday with the release of an ungodly amount of games, including Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway, Crysis Warhead and Wipeout HD, and doesn’t stop until the week before Christmas. To save you all a bit of time, I like to run through the release list at the start of a given quarter, and make sweeping generalisations as to the quality of upcoming games.

Last week’s Warp Pipe covered the games of October, so this week we’re looking at November’s big hitters, including Gears of War 2, Left 4 Dead and Mirror’s Edge.

Now Playing (19/08/08)
I was looking forward to this week with assignments out of the way, a TF2 update coming and meeting up with some forum goers this weekend. It should be pretty good. Then I wandered over to the file library and found some of the best trailers I've seen for awhile. This is a great collection this week and you definitely should come in and check them out!

Leading this empire of trailers is a story about some men and ships followed by more men and ships. After that there are chronicles and commandos to get keep it exciting. Finally we have a swarm bringing it home with a sack full of fun.

Now Playing (6/05/08)
Now Playing back for another week of videos, in a special late screening. After the last few massive weeks of trailers, it seems even they can't escape a good (and painful for some) long weekend.

While this week isn't as big as previous have been there is some interesting stuff in here. Starting this week is a game with amazing animation, some karting game customization and multiplayer fun. There is more instore on the lego front and things that are coming from a dark place and to wrap it all up we check back in with a snake on a mission.
