Oblivion - Game of the Year Edition to feature Shivering Isles, Knights of the Nine
If you haven't already picked up your copy of Oblivion, maybe hold off for a little while. 2K and Bethesda Softworks have just announced they're planning to release The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Game of the Year Edition, for both Windows PC and Xbox 360.

Of course, if you haven't yet experienced the 2006 Game of the Year, this is the perfect opportunity, as it bundles the original game together with the official Shivering Isles expansion pack, and even the downloadable content, Knights of the Nine.

Shivering Isles 1.2.0416 Patch is Here
Bethesda have managed to deliver the Shivering Isles patch on time, which is going to please a lot of gamers. It is a tiny little patch which fixes a really big problem. The patch promises relief from the "formID" problems which have been troubling gamers. The good news is that the patch should be available on Xbox live for the 360 at the same time.

Shivering Isles Patch Expected Mon for Xbox 360 and PC
Are we surprised that a game is released which is buggy? I don't think so. Even if the game is Shivering Isles the official expansion to Oblivion. While it is surprising that a game ending bug could get through the testing process when you see some of the conditions associated with the bug you begin to understand. Bethesda are promising that the patch to fix the "formID" bug will be available for download on Xbox live on Monday in the US (so Tuesday for all us folk who are ahead of everyone else).

The Elder Scrolls IV: Shivering Isles - Oblivion just got Expanded
Continuing the theme of official announcements, it's my great pleasure to tell you all that Shivering Isles, the expansion for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion will be released for both PC and Xbox 360 in Autumn this year.

We brought you the rumour, but now it's been confirmed. More than 30 hours of new gameplay await you in an entirely new plane of Oblivion - the realm of the Daedric Prince of Madness, Sheogorath. Because it simply adds to the existing world, you can even continue playing with your existing character - or create a new one just to check out the new content.
