Competition Terms and Conditions: Aliens: Colonial Marines Giveaway

  1. Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these conditions. Entry into this competition (“Promotion”) is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions of entry.
  2. Promotion is only open to Australian residents having an active user account with games.on.net at the time of entry into the competition and at the time of the prize announcement for Promotion. games.on.net can be found at: http://games.on.net.
  3. The Promoter of this competition is Internode Pty Ltd ABN 82 052 008 581 an Australian registered corporation (“Promoter”).
  4. A person is ineligible to enter and/or win a contest if they are an employee or a member of the immediate family of an employee of the Promoter or a related company of the Promoter.
  5. Only one entry per person is permitted for the Promotion.
  6. The competition will commence at 1:00 PM Australian Central Daylight Time (“ACDT”) on Wednesday, 23 January 2013, and entries will close at 11:59 PM ACDT on Wednesday 6 February 2013.
  7. Subject to other limitations set out in these terms and conditions, to enter and be eligible to win, eligible entrants must describe, in 150 words or less, either a new weapon for use by Colonial Marines or a new breen of alien.
  8. A prize will be awarded to the eligible entrant(s) who submit the most creative entry as determined by Promoter when compared with the entries of all entrants.
  9. Winners will each receive the following prize pack: 1 x PC copy of the Collectors Edition of Aliens: Colonial Marines (RRP $108.95) and 1 x Aliens: Colonial Marines t-shirt.
  10. A total of ten (10) prize packs will be awarded.
  11. Judging of all eligible entries will be completed by and winner(s) announced by 5:00 PM ACDT on Friday 8 February 2013, at the Internode offices located at 150 Grenfell Street Adelaide, SA Australia 5000.
  12. Promotion is a game of skill and chance plays no part in the draw.
  13. Each Promotion winner will be notified on the day of the winner announcement. Winners will be notified via a games.on.net forum “Private Message”.
  14. All prizes will be mailed within one month from the date of the winner announcement.
  15. Prizes will be mailed to the address supplied to Promoter at the time of submission. If the details of your address change, you should immediately advise Promoter via email – support@games.on.net.
  16. Prizes are non-transferable, and may not be redeemed for cash.
  17. All prizes are accepted entirely at the risk of the winner, and Promoter excludes all warranties in connection with any prize to the extent permitted by law.
  18. Promoter, its agencies, sponsors, affiliates and representatives are not responsible for defective prizes or misuse of any prize, or for any claims, liability, loss or damage arising out of or in connection with this contest.
  19. All eligible entrants release from and indemnify Promoter against all liability, cost, loss or expense arising out of acceptance of any prize(s) or participation in any contest including (but not limited to) personal injury and damage to property and whether direct or consequential, foreseeable, due to some negligent act or omission or otherwise.
  20. The username and state of residence of all contest winners may be published by Promoter as part of the competition process.
  21. All entries become the property of Promoter. By entering Promotion eligible entrants understand and agree that Promoter may use and disclose the information provided to them on the terms and for the purposes (including marketing) set out in Internode’s Privacy Statement available online at:

  22. No correspondence will be entered into. The decision of Promoter is final.
