Dead Rising 2 survives the OFLC- Uncut and dated!

I'm in quite the happy mood today. We've just received word that the sequel to one of my favorite games of all time has unexpectedly made it through the OFLC unscathed. Dead Rising 2 will be hitting shelves in September in its complete uncut glory!

... Mind you, it will still be sporting an MA15+ classification for "strong horror violence, blood and gore and sexual references".

Yes, THQ Australia have confirmed that Australian gamers will receive "the full experience, playing the same version released in North America and the UK".

While the original Dead Rising made it through just fine on release, hopes weren't high for the sequel, which encourages players to combine household items into ridiculous killing machines (like double ended paddle saws!), after the controversial censorship of Left 4 Dead 2.

Dead Rising 2 is due to hit local shelves on September 30th.
