All that's about to change - Dystopia V1 is finally ready to be released, so you'd all better stay at home on Saturday - it's being made live from 10:30am, Adelaide time. To celebrate, here - have a teaser video, made specially for the occasion.
Intrigued?
Dystopia places the player into a high-tech world encompassed by networked computers. Engage in tense combat situations as either a Punk or a Corp Mercenary, fighting through the physical world in order to gain access to cyberspace. Cyberspace, accessed via jack-in terminals, is a 3d representation of the world's network - where players can fight off enemy hackers, defend critical systems, or launch programs to hack into systems that can have a major impact on the physical world. Gameplay progresses through a series of inter-linked objectives - completed in either the real world or in cyberspace - or, in some cases, a well-timed combination of both.
Take part in action-packed battles, as a heavily enhanced combat mercenary armed to the teeth with high-tech implants and firepower - or as a cyberdecker with twitch-reflexes, racing to infiltrate a node. The only way to win is through skilful use of the arsenal provided to you, as well as intelligent team play.
It's style over substance in the world of Dystopia - are you ready to jack in and kick ass?

Thank you to AnarchyAngel for the headsup.
If you've got news you think other people might like to hear about - why not submit it?
