Digital distrubtors not overly fond of MW2's trojan horse

![]() We'll never outrun all of this controversy! |
A statement on the order page for the game (how cruel!) says they "believe strongly that when you buy a game from us, you shouldn't be forced to install and run a 3rd party software client to be able to play the game you purchased."
While MW2 obviously falls into that category, the company hasn't been quite so rigorous in the past, with games like Zeno Clash clearly stating their reliance on Steam.
Needless to say, this undermines their "strong belief" and implies a more mysterious reason for their reluctance to carry the title.
Conspiracy theories front and center. KKGO.
