Cosplay Creations: Bayonetta in the flesh

There's been a lot of talk about how good (or otherwise) the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of upcoming hack-and-slasher Bayonetta look - but there's been no debate on the subject of the titular witch's looks. Bayonetta sets the bar high for the aspiring impersonator, but Italian cosplayer pnkfish has made a pretty good job of it! Check out these photos from the Lucca Comics & Games convention...

This is a far cry from the newspaper-armour storm troopers and forty-five year old Yuna's I always seem to run into! And as if a skin-tight suit and fairly epic hairstyle were not enough, she even crafted a replica pair of our favourite demonically-coifed heroine's signature red pistols!
Apart from being a talented cosplayer, pnkfish is an illustrator; you can check out her work (and more photos) on her DeviantArt page. That will give you something to do until Bayonetta launches on both platforms in early January next year.
