Welcome to Now Playing, where each week, we guide you through a selection of trailers from recently released or upcoming games. Sometimes, the trailers are good, other times, the trailers are bad. The one strand of consistency that holds Now Playing together is the fact that there are always trailers.
This week, we take a look at LEGO Rock Band, Starcraft 2, Dragon Age: Origins, The Saboteur, and BioShock 2.
Any music game with Queen in it is probably going to sell a bunch of copies. It might even make some people buy a console for that reason. LEGO Rock Band is going to feature Queen, so if logic has any merits, LEGO Rock Band is going to sell a fair few copies.

Starcraft 2 will sell lots of copies, even if it not going to have official LAN support. The latest battle report shows off some of the new map features on a familiar map, Lost Temple. It looks interesting enough, but the need for a lot of micro may make some players shake their heads and cry.

Dragon Age: Origins is the last game that I am looking forward to this year. Firstly, because it has been developed by Bioware, and secondly, because it will ship with a complete toolset, allowing people to make their own mods with relative ease. That means that the game will have a long lifespan, which is something quite important to PC gamers who are strapped for cash, or just like the idea of having a game that is worth something even after the developers have long abandoned it.

I'd imagine that living in an occupied territory would not be a particularly wonderful experience. So why not make a game about it? Seems to suit EA, except it is with a certain twist - you'll be able to fight back against the oppressors in order to make life as difficult as possible for them. Seems like it could be fun, but it may turn into another Velvet Assassin...

While I want to look forward to BioShock 2, I can't help but be a little saddened by the trailers that have been released for the game so far. They all seem to have a lot more emphasis on action, and less emphasis on dramatic tension. While action is fine, I don't feel as though that was the point of the first game. In any case, I guess we will just have to wait and see.

Each week, far too many trailers are released. Because you don't have time to trawl through the file library to find them all, we like to gather them all into one easy to digest list. While some of the trailers may be good, and others may be bad, each is certain to be entertaining if you're at the very least, interested in the game that it is promoting.Didn't Make the Cut
