Back in June, the second Map Pack managed the same feat, so it seems that enthusiasm for World at War remains quite constant. After this latest bout of milestone-setting, the total number of paid content downloads for World at War has reached a very pleasant total of 6.5 million.
Last we heard, World at War itself had shifted about 11 million copies on all platforms; if we assume that most players purchased all three packs, it looks like WaW DLC is seeing roughly about 20% market penetration, even with delays making life difficult for PC players. Not a bad result!
Map Pack Three for Call of Duty: World at War is available now via the Playstation network for $15.95 or Xbox LIVE Marketplace for 800 Microsoft Points.
