[BlizzCon 09] Ozzy Osbourne to headline BlizzCon's closing concert

While all the tickets for BlizzCon 2009 have been sold out for quite some time now, the lucky bunch of people who actually managed to get their hands on a ticket will get a special treat at the close of BlizzCon 2009.

As the even closes on the 22nd of August, a concert featuring "The Prince of Darkness", Ozzy Osbourne will farewell fans from the event.

The people over at Blizzard are understandably very excited about conscripting Mr. Obsbourne to their cause, with the man renowned for his time in the band Black Sabbath, and as icon in the world of rock music, giving him a place in the rock and roll hall of fame.

Mike Morhaime, CEO and co-founder of Blizzard seems to be excited about the fact that Osbourne will be appearing at the event, stating that:
Our goal with BlizzCon is to deliver an unforgettable weekend of entertainment, and we can’t think of a better way to close out this year’s show than having Ozzy rock the house. Many of us at Blizzard are lifelong fans of Ozzy’s music, and we’re thrilled that he’ll be performing for all of our BlizzCon attendees as well as those joining us via DIRECTV and the live Internet stream.

BlizzCon is due to take place during the 21st and 22nd of August, and it is anticipated that Blizzard will be revealing much information regarding their multitude of universes, including Warcraft, StarCraft and Diablo.
