The most exciting addition to Gran Turismo's already impressive range of vehicles, now totaling over eight hundred, is a classic: the 1974 Lamborghini Countach LP400, which appears in a suitably vivid orange to help you spot it overtaking your comparably pathetic starting vehicle. This is the luxury brand's first appearance in the franchise, but apparently not the last...
The Italian sports car love doesn't end there, with the 2002 Enzo Ferrari causing at least three deadly sins in everybody it leaves in its slipsteam. This year's models get a good look in, too, with appearances by the 2009 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 and Nissan GT-R Spec V.

And, of course, we mustn't forget the concept car built by Citroën in conjunction with designers at Polyphony Digital specifically for this title, the GTbyCitroën.
With a preorder voucher, players can unlock one of these impressive vehicles from the very beginning of the game, providing a massive performance boost for those hoping to build up a huge pile of credits and unlock everything - or just gain an edge over the AI or in multiplayer sessions. Polyphony have been vague on whether or not the cars are otherwise available in game for those willing to slog for them, but given that a preorder voucher only unlocks one of the cars you'd expect all the others to be included for completeness.
Gran Turismo releases locally for PSP on the first of October, much to the delight of petrol heads everywhere.
