Microsoft have revealed yet another Xbox 360 bundle in a bid to entice the gaming public to make an impulse buy. On the 6th of August, select retailers will be offering gamers a special bundle of sorts - an Xbox 360 Pro console, (that is the one with a 60BG hard drive) with two of the best selling games on the platform - Halo 3 and Halo Wars.

The bundle's aim is to give those who haven't got a Xbox 360 the opportunity to catch up with what's happened in the Halo universe a chance to catch up before Halo 3: ODST launches on the 22nd of September.

While the bundle coming with games is good - you'll be pleased to know that you won't be getting short-changed at all if you choose to pick up the special bundle, as all the usual stuff that comes with an Xbox 360 Pro console will be present - a Wireless controller, Headset, Component AV cable, and an Ethernet cable to get your shiny new toy online.

The Halo Bundle will be available on the 6th of August from "select retailers", and will be available for at the price point of AU$449, though, this may vary from retailer to retailer.
