DJ Jazzy Jeff to brighten DJ Hero

Chillin' out maxin' relaxin' all cool
The list of big names involved with DJ Hero, Activision's contribution to the suddenly densely populated DJ game scene, just keeps growing. You can tell that a project is stirring some interest when people like myself, completely disinterested in any of the genres of music involved in the game, are able to recognise a pioneering figure or two. The latest face to wander across my screen to a chorus of "hey, isn't that the guy who...?" is DJ Jazzy Jeff, known to popular culture as the non-Will Smith half of The Fresh Prince.

Jazzy Jeff contributes two original mixes to the DJ Hero set list, Tears for Fears Shout vs. Eric B. & Rakim Eric B. Is President, as well as LL Cool J Rock the Bells vs. The Aranbee Pop Symphony Orchestra Bittersweet Symphony. He also appears as a playable character, something he's quite pleased about:
“I am very, very excited DJ culture is finally getting its due. To have a song in DJ Hero is a dream come true; to be a character someone can pick up the controller and select you and play is probably the biggest thing to happen to me in my career ... Music is so much a part of everyone’s life, DJ Hero is going to appeal to almost everybody.”

Why is every DJ Hero screen at a weird angle?

Oh come on dude, as if constantly being asked if you're the Fresh Prince guy isn't the highlight of a life well spent! DJ Hero is due on Playstation 2, Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii in October, so you should probably start searching for an empty corner in your peripheral cupboard.
