See the interview with Gabe Newell on Good Game tonight, as well as reviews of ArmA II, Wii Sports Resort and Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. Good Game airs Monday nights at 8:30pm on ABC2, and late Friday nights before rage on ABC1.
"It’d be really great if we could evolve Steam in a way that made it possible so that the developer could say, if you want this game to start moving forward here’s the sort of seed round where people can sort of opt in and say I’ll pay $30 and then I own a piece of this game going forward. "
In a wide-ranging interview, Newell also touches on his move into the gaming world, creating Half-Life and Steam, and Valve's stance on piracy and other issues. Also interviewed are co-founder of Team Fortress and true-blue Aussie John Cook, as well as Valve's Business Manager Jason Holtman.
