Steam brings the updates for Half-Life, Counter-Strike, Condition Zero

Ah, Thursday. I never really got the hang of Thursdays, but at least this one's started off right with a couple of really quick Steam updates.

They're so quick there's barely two lines in the changelog, but if you do anything involving the Half-Life engine, or server admin of Counter-Strike, they're the sort of tweak you've been waiting for. Chances are, you also know what to do in order to get the update - restart your Steam client and you're set!

Half-Life Engine
  • Added -sys_ticrate command line option to allowed forced override of ticrate

  • Prevent more cases of server redirection

Counter-Strike/Condition Zero
  • Added -nobots option to allow forced override of bots on servers
